What about hurricanes and our reservation?

This is a question that many if not all people have and rightfully so. The truth is that we always have adequate notice of tropical storms and hurricanes. We monitor the weather constantly. We want all trips to be, firstly and foremost safe for the passengers and crew. If a trip is cancelled due to a named tropical storm or hurricane you can reschedule your dive trip for another time. The National Hurricane Center has a very good website in which you can monitor tropical storm / hurricane activity. You can find the NHC's web site here: http://www.nhc.noaa.gov

In addition we strongly recommend you obtain trip insurance through Dive Assurance so if you are unable to reschedule you can have your trip costs refunded through them. If you travel a lot, their annual Diamond Program is a great choice.

On the day of departure, what time can we board the Easy Goin?

On the day of departure the crew is preparing for the trip so we ask that you show up to the dock no earlier than 3:30 PM. If you arrive earlier you can drop off your luggage in your stateroom, and tour the Marina or lounge topside. We are docked at the Royale Palm Yacht Basin which has plenty of parking. The address is
629 NE 3rd Street, Dania, FL 33004. Everyone needs to be on the boat by 5:30 PM.

How do I arrange travel to and from the Easy Goin?

We are located at the Royale Palm Yacht Basin. If you are flying into Fort Lauderdale airport we will pick you up. For those that are driving we have parking available. For any questions please give us a call and we can provide suggestions depending upon your circumstances.

When do we return and when is a good time to book our flight home?

Depending on the trip choice and itinerary we may return home late at night or late afternoon. Remember from your scuba training though that you need time to off-gas before you can fly. So plan your flight such that it is safe for you to fly after diving. If you have any questions please contact us.

What do we need to bring?

Upon making reservations we will provide you with a "Stuff to Bring" checklist however a some of the items needed include: dive gear (BC, regulator, mask, fins, snorkel, wetsuit), swimming clothes, towels, sun screen, cert card, dive log, dive computer, dive lights (for night diving), and your passport.

When is our first / last dive?

We need to clear customs and immigration in the Bahamas before we can begin any diving. The first dive will be an easy 'warm-up' dive. The last dive may depend on when your flight is (if you are flying) so take that into consideration when booking your flight. Typically and depending upon the trip, our last dive is early afternoon.

Do you provide dive certifications?

Not at this time.

Do you take underwater pictures of our dive trip?

How much gratuity should we leave?
